Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time in order to make ends meet. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative routes she could choose. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her solo debut album Diva, which was released by 1992. It was a massive hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo that was released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They would go on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career, releasing her debut album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of some songs, including"No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
